Welcome to the LATIN AMERICAN INSTITUTE Spanish, Portuguese Italian and French courses are available at beginning, intermediate and advanced conversational levels for adults and children. Classes are small. We allow a maximum of 8 students per class. You will be added to our waiting list if there are more than 8 students in a class. You will get a place on a first come, first served basis.

Classes are taught by a NYS certified teacher who is also a native speaker.

Placement for new students

The Latin American Institute welcomes you to our placement/orientation sessions.

Any of these sessions listed bellow, will allow the student to find out more about specific differences between Spanish levels we teach and also will allow the teacher to find out more about your background and what will be the best course or section for you to join.

Tuesdays at 7:30 pm.

Wednesdays at 5:30 pm

Thursdays at 7:45 pm.

Fridays at 7:30 pm.

Saturdays at 11 am. or at 4:30 pm

If any of these time does not works out for you, please let us know.

We will be happy to make arrangements for a day that works well for you.

Classes are running normally from 5:00 to 6:15 pm and from 6:15 to 7:30 pm on weekday and also we have other options on Saturday morning and after noon.
